TESA — Performing the Procedure
The testicular sperm aspiration (TESA) procedure is performed under local anesthesia in our fertility center and is coordinated with your female partner’s egg retrieval. During the procedure, our LIV reproductive surgeon inserts a needle in the testicle to aspirate the sperm. Under low suction we are able to obtain small amounts of the sperm.
