How to Administer Injections for Ovulation

The steps to prepare and apply the medication are the followings

1. Open the syringe and make sure the needle is fully attached to it.
2. Insert the needle into the container, the top of the needle should touch the bottom of the
vial, this way all the liquid will be collected.
3. Suck in the liquid slowly and carefully to prevent bubbles from forming
4. Open the ampoule with the powdered medication and inject the liquid previously loaded
into the syringe.
5. The medicine should be diluted immediately, if not, you can slowly rotate the bottle in
your hand. Be careful not to shake it too hard.
6. Suck the entire diluted contents of the bottle. Make sure you don’t get in the air on
7. Replace the needle with a thinner, shorter one.
8. Return the cap to the syringe and rotate it counterclockwise.
9. Put the new needle in and make sure it is secure.
Application:

The abdomen is the area of application of the medication. We will take the navel as a reference
point and the medication will be injected into two fingers of lateral, upper, or lower distance.
After choosing the area of application. Clean the area with an alcohol swab, remember to clean
with gentle movements, and do not pass the swab more than once in the area that has already
been cleaned.
1. Take a small amount of skin with your fingertips and hold the syringe at a 90-degree
angle.
2. Insert the needle slowly and fully
3. Inject and hold the plunger down for 3 seconds
4. Remove the needle and then remove your fingers from your skin.
5. If necessary, clean the area again with a swab

HOW TO PRESERVE FERTILITY IN WOMEN WITH CANCER

Some of our patients have asked us if there is any chance of having breast cancer during the IVF treatment. It’s not possible, before analyzing if you are a candidate for an IVF, we ask you for different tests, including mammography, for all our over 40 years old patients and an ultrasound for the youngest patients.
But what happens If you already are in treatment for cancer/ breast cancer and want to preserve your fertility?
One of the LIV’s Medical Team will tell you how we can support you at LIV Fertility Center to preserve fertility whether by freezing embryos, freezing eggs, using donor eggs, or using donor embryos.
Remember that you are stronger than you think. We are all in this together!

IVF Payment Plan

Let’s talk more about your finances when choosing the IVF path. Private clinics in the United States or Canada are too expensive. Their prices are between $15,000- $ 20,000 USD and in cities such as New York or Vancouver, the demand for treatments is so high, that many of our patients have not had the best experience regarding the human treatment they are receiving. They feel like a cookie-cutter IVF is being performed and feel like they are just another number on the doctor’s roster. The advantage of coming to LIV is that you will pay much less than in other locations, and still receive better care and services. LIV prides itself on the selfless care and guidance provided for each individual patient during their procedure. Carlos, our Coordinators Manager, and his team can explain to you with more detail about our payment plan. Remember that “If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you’ll never get it done”. Please share with us your contact information or register in ivfvallarta.com so they can contact you ASAP.
