Step 1: Identify the menstrual cycle before your Embryo Transfer

Once you start your second to last period before the embryo transfer, the medical team will schedule you on the 21st day of your cycle to perform the scratching.

Step 3: Scratching

The endometrial scratching lasts approximately 30 minutes, during which time the doctor will insert a catheter vaginally into your uterus and gently scrape the endometrial lining.

Step 3: Ready to go

Once you have rested for 20-30 minutes you are ready to go home. The next step is to tell us the first day of your next period and start the endometrial preparation for the embryo transfer.
