“The technology you use impresses no one, The experiences you create with it, is everything.” You were not made to give up!
AMAZING: The accomplishments of science and the advancements of fertility can only be summed up in one word; amazing. Within the astonishing walls of LIV Fertility Center, our laboratory has performed thousands of IVF procedures.
Led by our Laboratory Director, Karla Martin Del Campo MSc, LIV has adopted the revolutionary techniques of assisted reproduction. This and a lot of other adjustments have made LIV Fertility Center one of the most respected locations where the results speak for themselves.
When performing a fertility treatment at LIV, you can rest assured that you are getting one of the more modern procedures available. When you put the perfect team together with the perfect equipment, then you have a recipe for success. We can vouch for that combination.
Techniques Available at LIV Fertility Center:
- Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) – A highly specialized fertilization technique in which a single sperm is selected and injected directly into the cytoplasm of a mature egg using a microneedle under a high-powered microscope. ICSI is performed in the laboratory by skilled embryologists and is designed to overcome many forms of male infertility, such as low sperm count, poor motility, abnormal morphology, or previous fertilization failure.
At LIV Fertility Center, ICSI is part of our routine embryology procedures and is used in most IVF cycles to maximize fertilization rates. The technique allows the use of sperm obtained from the ejaculate or retrieved surgically (e.g., TESE), offering patients a higher likelihood of obtaining viable embryos regardless of the underlying sperm quality.
- In Vitro Extended Culture & Blastocyst Transfer – Cultures embryos for 5–6 days to allow the selection of the most viable blastocysts for transfer. At LIV Fertility Center, our strict quality control standards and advanced laboratory conditions allow us to offer this option as a routine part of treatment, helping to improve embryo selection and optimize pregnancy outcomes.
- Assisted Hatching –Assisted Hatching – A laboratory technique in which a highly precise laser is used to create a small opening in the zona pellucida (the outer shell of the embryo) to facilitate implantation. At LIV Fertility Center, we use the most advanced and least invasive laser technology, allowing us to offer this procedure routinely to our patients. Assisted hatching may be particularly beneficial for patients of advanced maternal age, those with previous failed IVF cycles, or when the embryo’s zona pellucida appears thickened, helping improve the chances of successful implantation.
- Embryo Glue – A specialized embryo transfer medium enriched with hyaluronan, a naturally occurring substance in the female reproductive tract that helps promote adhesion between the embryo and the endometrium. This medium is designed to create an optimal environment for implantation during the embryo transfer process. At LIV Fertility Center, we offer Embryo Glue routinely as part of our commitment to providing patients with the best possible conditions to support implantation and increase the chances of pregnancy.
- Advanced Sperm Selection – Microfluidics (ZyMot) – In addition to the range of conventional sperm preparation techniques routinely used at LIV Fertility Center, we also offer Microfluidics (ZyMot) as an advanced option when clinically indicated. This technology uses a microfluidic device that simulates the natural selection barriers found in the female reproductive tract, allowing only the healthiest, most motile, and morphologically normal sperm to pass through while reducing the presence of DNA fragmentation and other defects. Microfluidics can help optimize fertilization outcomes, improve embryo quality, and increase the chances of pregnancy in selected cases.
- Advanced Fertilization Technique – PICSI – In addition to offering conventional IVF and ICSI as part of our standard treatment options, LIV Fertility Center also provides PICSI (Physiological Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) when clinically indicated. This technique selects sperm based on their natural ability to bind to hyaluronic acid, a substance found in the human egg’s outer layers, which is associated with better sperm maturity and DNA integrity. By using PICSI in selected cases, we aim to enhance fertilization outcomes, improve embryo quality, and support higher chances of implantation and pregnancy.
- Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT-A / PGT-M) – An advanced genetic analysis performed on embryos before transfer to identify chromosomal abnormalities (PGT-A) or specific inherited genetic disorders (PGT-M). This allows the selection of embryos with the highest potential for healthy development, helping to reduce the risk of miscarriage and increase the chances of a successful pregnancy. At LIV Fertility Center, PGT is offered when clinically indicated, particularly for patients with advanced maternal age, recurrent pregnancy loss, previous failed IVF cycles, or a known risk of genetic disease.
- Endometrial P.R.P. – Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is obtained from a small sample of the patient’s own blood and processed to concentrate growth factors that promote tissue healing, angiogenesis, and regeneration. When infused into the uterine cavity, PRP may help improve endometrial thickness and receptivity.
At LIV Fertility Center, Endometrial PRP is considered an adjunct therapy, it is recommended only when clinically indicated, such as in cases of persistently thin endometrium despite standard therapy, recurrent implantation failure, or a history of Asherman’s syndrome; and always after a thorough discussion with your physician regarding expected benefits, alternative options, and the current scientific evidence.
- Ovarian Rejuvenation – This innovative procedure aims to improve ovarian function and response to stimulation by delivering regenerative agents directly into the ovarian tissue. At LIV Fertility Center, ovarian rejuvenation may be performed using Platelet-Rich Plasma or with stem cell–based therapies in selected cases. These bioactive molecules and cells may stimulate cellular activity, promote blood vessel formation, and support follicular development.
Ovarian Rejuvenation is considered an adjunct and experimental therapy. It is recommended for carefully selected patients, such as those with diminished ovarian reserve, poor ovarian response in previous IVF cycles, or certain cases of premature ovarian insufficiency. Before proceeding, patients receive a thorough consultation to discuss potential benefits, limitations, alternative options, and the current scientific evidence regarding these treatments.>
- Endometrial Evaluation – This category includes specialized tests to assess the uterine environment and optimize the chances of implantation.
- Endometrial receptivity assessment – Determines the personalized window of implantation through advanced molecular analysis.
- Infectious endometritis screening – Detects bacterial pathogens that may be associated with chronic endometritis.
- Endometrial microbiome analysis – Evaluates the balance of the microorganisms present in the endometrium.
These evaluations are not performed routinely; they are recommended only when clinical history or previous treatment outcomes suggest a possible endometrial factor affecting implantation. At LIV Fertility Center, our team integrates these results with your complete fertility profile to create a personalized treatment plan aimed at improving pregnancy success rates.
